FAQs

What does Long Lake’s water sports summer camp offer?

We offer a fun and exciting mix of water-based activities, from kayaking and paddleboarding to tubing, sailing, and swimming. Set on our private lake surrounded by the Adirondacks.

Is this a full water sports camp or part of a larger program?

It’s part of our full arts and adventure experience. Campers can focus on summer camp water sports while also exploring music, fine arts, theater, and more.

Is this a good choice if I’m looking for a water sports camp?

If you’re in the Northeast or willing to travel, absolutely. We’re located in the stunning Adirondack Park and known as one of the top water sports camps in Long Lake.

How often do campers go to the waterfront?

Every day! The lake is a central part of camp life, and kids can choose daily waterfront activities.

What makes this different from a typical sports camp in Long Lake?

While we offer a wide range of land and water sports, what sets Long Lake apart is the freedom campers have to mix sports with the arts. They can spend the morning wakeboarding and the afternoon painting or rehearsing for a show, and it’s a camp that supports both sides of who they are.

Do campers need prior water experience?

Not at all. Beginners are welcome, and all activities are fully supervised by trained staff.

Is Long Lake considered a waterfront arts camp?

Yes! It’s where creativity and outdoor adventure meet, right by the water.

Presently all sessions are accepting campers ages 8 to 16. We look forward to connecting with you soon.
