Create Your Perfect Day – Scheduling at Long Lake
Only Long Lake truly lets your create your perfect schedule everyday. Our day starts at 7.30am and ends at 10pm with 7, 1 hour activity periods plus evening fun and rest periods after lunch and dinner to relax with your friends.
You have over 60 different activities to choice from each day. You can combine our activities in an almost unlimited number of combinations, its up to you with our help. Some activities you do every day, or regularly through the week, or you can choose on the spot. We offer the most customizable schedule of any camp in the world. We make it work by having 160 caring and talented staff.
Some campers prefer a highly scheduled day others prefer to choose by the day, both are possible and we make sure everyone is busy, learning and having fun. To make sure every camper is truly happy and enjoying all the activities they want we have a tremendous group of staff called Unit Leaders who are your camp concierge and guide. Below are just two schedule examples out of a countless number of possibilities. Remember every camper creates their own schedule for every minute of every day with our help and guidance choosing from everything we have to offer. We have 7-one hour activity period per day and we have rest hours after lunch and after dinner. OUr evenings are filled with camp fires, bunk togetherness, performing arts nights, rock concerts, chamber concerts and Fine Arts.

12.15pm to 1.45 Lunch then rest hour.
1.45 to 2.00 Afternoon meeting, every department reminds the camper what we offer.
2.00 to 3.00 Period 4: Private Vocal lesson Learning “Adele’s Someone Like You”
3.00 to 4.00 Period 5: Waterskiing
4.00 to 4.15 Snack Time.
4.15 to 5.15 Period 6: Dance Show Rehearsal
5.15 to 6.15 Period 7: Dance Show Rehearsal
6.15 to 7.00 Dinner, mail and Packages
7.00 to 8.00 Rest Period with canteen, evening cruises, swings and relaxing
8.00 to 9.30 Evening activities, bon fires, movies, performing arts night, rock concerts, chamber concerts, bunk activities, traditional camp fun.
9.30 to 10.00 Back to bunks and lights out at 10.00pm
Mathew is a 10 year old who loves, rock guitar, painting, ATV’s, Film making, Wake Surfing, Technical Theater and circus.

4.15 to 5.15 Period 6: Rock Band Rehearsal
5.15 to 6.15 Period 7: Circus rehearsal for Globe
6.15 to 6.00 Dinner
7.00 to 8.00 Rest Period with canteen, evening cruises, swings and relaxing

9.30 to 10.00 Back to bunks and lights out at 10.00pm
For productions that will perform at the end of your session: musicals and plays, music bands and ensembles , dance show, circus, Improv show, rock bands, comedy and magic, our actors and performers rehearse daily. For theater you will rehearse for either 2 or 3 hours per day depending on the length of the show. For the dance show it is 1 or 2 hours per day.
For any of the Fine Arts, technical theater or film you can choose to do them daily or less, it is up to you.
For sports and waterfront you can choose on the spot what to do, or create a regular time to enjoy our great waterfront or land sports.
For music you create your own schedule with your instructor, we can promise you 2 lessons per week for vocals, more for other instruments.
