Long Lake’s sleepaway summer music camp program is for girls and boys, ages 8 to 16 who want to learn and perform music and more, at an amazing sleepaway camp in upstate New York. Every camper has the freedom of choice to create their own amazing creative summer experience, with our help. We cherish your love of music and Long Lake was created to let musicians flourish along side like minded campers. Our music overnight camps offers beginners to advanced a non-competitive program with unlimited choices in:

Long Lake was founded in 1969 by Maestro David Katz to offer young musicians a creative oasis to follow your music dreams. Our 18 music faculty can teach almost any instrument and we have 3 dedicated vocal coaches. Each week we offer many evening performances for you to share your love of music with the camp. Friday is a performing arts night, Saturday is a Rock Concert and Sunday is out chamber concert night. At the end of each session you can star in our performing arts music festival both on stage and along the shore of Long Lake. Long Lake’s musicians thrive because of the many ways you can develop your musicianship, like composing your own music, playing in the many orchestra Pits, learn how to write your own songs and record them.
Our truly spectacular location is in the heart of the awe inspiring Adirondack Park, lush green forests, crystal blue lakes and soaring mountains surround and inspire us daily. Our kids come from all around American and the world, travelling to join our creative community of like minded and passionate musician’s and artists.
