SPECIAL EVENTS |

At Long Lake our campers
look forward to activities that go beyond the scheduled fun. Throughout
the summer we organize special events that bring the whole camp together. One of the most anticipated are the impromptu Pizza parties we throw after lights out. With every pizza company within a 20 mile radius going into overdrive to provide us with the 50 large pies it takes to feed everyone . Marc Carolyn and Geoff really love going form bunk to bunk handing out the pies and seeing the big smiles and surprised faces. If its a warm evening we will crack open the freezers and offer ice pops to all our campers and staff. |

Every week we have a traditional camp fire where we all roast marshmallows and hang out with our friends. For many campers this is their first time and it is truly a special time of the week for everyone. Each Sunday we have a special fine arts events where we have either a Viking or Pirate or Sumo day. Our campers make costumes and boats out of boxes then the captains try to row them around the swim area to win the booty treasure! |
| MINTONS" is a long Lake tradition where you really get to dress up and enjoy a Jazz club atmosphere. You can perform or support your friends. Only in our third session we pull out all the stops and transform our dinning hall into a New York style Jazz club. Our campers are the performers and the atmosphere is electric. |
